Adding in chapters to your video can help you viewers navigate the video easily. This may be useful in cases when you have a long video, and want viewers to be able to find the sections that are most important to them!

Steps:
- Open your “My Media” section: Access your “My Media” section in Canvas or in Capture Space.
- Open the editing options: To do this, click the pencil icon to the right of the video you want to edit. Alternatively, click the title of the video, then on the new page that loads, click “Actions” and then “Edit” in the dropdown menu.
- Click “Timeline” under the video player
- Locate & Click the “Create a new chapter” button: Click the top of the two buttons on the far left side.
- Enter a title for the chapter and optionally upload a thumbnail image for the chapter.
- Click Save. A little blue chapter icon should appear on the timeline showing the new chapter you created.
- Click on a new desired point of the video for your next chapter.
- Locate & Click the “Create a new chapter” button: Click the top of the two buttons on the far left side.
- Enter a title for the chapter and optionally upload a thumbnail image for the chapter.
- Repeat these steps for as many chapters as needed.
- Check your chapters by clicking the “Details” tab under the video player, scroll down on that page and click “Go to media”
- Click the new menu icon in the upper left corner of the video player now to see and click on the chapters.
